Privacy Policy

What we keep

• Your email (never shown publicly), username, display name, bio and settings.
• What you create: posts, comments, messages, cottage contents, community memberships.
• Security records: sign-in times, device descriptions and IP addresses, kept to protect your account.

Who can see it

• Each post, cottage item and community follows the visibility you choose, checked on our servers.
• Private messages are readable only by the two people in the conversation. Moderators see a single message only if one of you reports it.
• Anything you’ve shown someone can be remembered or screenshotted, so share gently.

What we never do

• No advertising, no selling data, no tracking for engagement.

Retention and your rights

• Deleted messages are erased, not hidden. Deleting your account removes your content.
• Security logs are kept for up to 12 months. Expired sign-in links are cleared regularly.
• Download everything from Settings → Account at any time.
